Tech on Deck to feature fresh content by Early Charm’s expert team of scientists and entrepreneurs on unmet market needs and challenges
March 7, 2022, Baltimore, MD – Early Charm, a company that creates, owns and operates ventures that convert science to revenue, today announced the launch of its Tech on Deck blog.
Early Charm’s new blog is designed to spotlight future-looking industry problems and needs fueling Early Charm’s tech and life science-focused startups and entrepreneurs (including Materic, an Early Charm portfolio company).
Going forward, Tech on Deck will feature new content weekly prepared by Early Charm’s team of expert scientists, researchers and market-focused analysts.
As part of this, Tech on Deck bloggers will focus on innovation and breakthrough technologies from Early Charm portfolio companies and the next generation tech products they are developing in four industry sectors: Drug Design, Custom Materials, Blue Economy and Engineered Products.
“With more than 30 companies comprising our portfolio and more to come, Tech on Deck gives us an ideal way to share the stories, opportunities and next generation tech products our teams are developing,” said Chris Ewing, Chief Marketing Officer with Materic. “Tech on Deck is not just another blog – this is a constantly updated, vital resource and channel that introduces concrete tech-focused solutions to market problems now and those around the corner.”
Tech on Deck reflects Early Charm’s continued fast growth, which also includes a recent doubling of its production and lab space at Baltimore’s 1100 Wicomico building.
Early Charm’s significant space expansion has now brought total production and development space to just under 5,000 square feet. The additional space houses an array of production and development equipment, including production-grade 3D printers, electrospinning machines to manufacture nanofibers, plus bench tops for life science development and analytical equipment.
