September 28, 2021, Baltimore, MD – Materic, LLC, a custom designer and manufacturer of advanced materials, begins the second-quarter of its successful Electrospinning Web Series focused on “Electrospinning in Medicine.”

Materic’s Q2 kicks off on Thursday, October 7 with a virtual panel discussion on the overall topic of “Electrospinning in Medicine” and four subsequent follow up events every other week on related sub-topics described below. Registration is now open for this new virtual series.

Materic’s Electrospinning Web Series (with free registration) is a year-long set of virtual events featuring many of the world’s experts on electrospinning and its practical use cases in industry and advanced manufacturing. Materic’s Electrospinning Web Series completed its first-quarter inaugural series of events on “Scaleup and Industry Translation.”

For the next webinar series event on October 7, attendees will hear industry and research experts discuss the versatile applications of nanofibers in the medical field.

Inventors also will discuss their breakthroughs in the space of drug-release substrates, environments for in-vitro drug modeling, platforms for organ-on-a-chip technologies and scaffolds for tissue engineering.

In addition, attendees will also hear from those who have run the gamut of electrospun medical product development – plus will learn about FDA submissions for nanofiber products, GMP manufacturing and fundraising for medical technologies.

Materic’s Electrospinning Web Series aims to build an active community – and spur collaboration – among those engaged in electrospinning plus those interested in learning more how electrospinning meets industry needs.

With this event series, a new kickoff virtual event is set for the beginning of each quarter with an expert panel to showcase a unique topic within the field of electrospinning. Following the quarterly kickoff event, each panel member then hosts an intimate follow-up event in the weeks ahead within the context of each quarterly topic.
