BioPaper from Materic is an electrospun 3D nanofiber scaffold product, delivered in different sizes of Transwell™ plate inserts suitable for various cell culture needs. Polycaprolactone (PCL) is an FDA-approved biodegradable polyester material that has been used extensively in tissue engineering over the past several decades. Researchers and clinicians have taken advantage of its unique bio-compatible properties for implants, adhesion barriers, sutures, and drug delivery systems. Materic’s electrospun PCL membranes recreate the extracellular matrix, conducive to cellular attachment, media transport, and cell proliferation.
