Our scientists develop functional solutions for when off-the-shelf products don’t meet customers’ needs. We can help reformulate existing materials for better performance, or create something entirely new for any application.

We work closely with our customers to define performance targets (e.g., durability, functionality, conductivity, sustainability), then formulate and screen material candidates. Materic can also scale pilot volumes and support transfer to in-house or contract manufacturing processes.

Materic has experience developing conductive inks for flexible electronics and coatings, biological inks for in vitro models and research tools, and functional dispersions for printing and patterning.

Materic adapts SLA printing processes to produce specialty ceramic materials, including alumina. Our methods ensure high-resolution printing for smooth, injection mold-like surfaces and post-processing for end-use readiness.

Materic develops formulations that carry and release active agents – i.e., antimicrobials, insecticides, fragrances, or other functional – on a defined timescale. These chemistries can be made for applications in garments and textiles, ingestibles, and injectables.
