Direct Silver™ is the silver nanowire product with refined purity, superb conductivity, and high aspect ratio. Originally formulated and developed for solar panel application out of Johns Hopkins University, the Direct Silver™ suspensions are perfectly suitable for conductive ink formulation used for high optical transparency films, transparent conducting films (TCF) and various coatings. The silver nanowires are conductive, transparent, antimicrobial, and flexible. In addition to excellent material properties, they are more economical and less burdensome to fabricate and to process, compared to alternatives.
Well-suited for applications in:
- Flexible and wearable electronics, such as smartwatches, fitness trackers, and augmented reality glasses
- Transparent conductive electrodes (TCEs) or films (TCFs) for conventional touch screens, electronics display, photovoltaics, and other solar cell applications
- Antimicrobial coatings for textiles, medical devices, environmental remediabtion, or food safety packaging and sensors
- Various sensors, such as detections of chemical agents, specific gases, light intensity, relevant biologics and so on
- High performance electromagnetic Interference (EMI) shielding materials
